BummerCityTown responds:

Haha thanks wolf. You da best. I'll let the name misspelling slide :)

I'm seriously a fan, I never hear anything bad from you. Good stuff.

JakobePaulobe responds:

Thanks man I'm glad you think so, I've been liking your stuff as well

Up the vocals a bit, and once that's done, it's perfect.

CHiLEDAWG responds:

Thanks wolf! Always love yo reviews

That beat is killer. Would've been awesome to have it play a bit more at the outro until it fades.

Good stuff as usual. No critique from me, I enjoyed this.

Pretty solid listen. Beat was nice, too. Good work.

JakobePaulobe responds:

Thanks bro!

Jang Gang has an interesting voice...

I listened to this a few times, but I didn't really hear much personals (but as a Round 1 battle where both are debuting in Clabtrap and don't have much history [at least not on Newgrounds], I can ignore it for now). That said, I think Lukes James had a better flow and better lyrics. I listened to this a few times, and I didn't really hear any personals, but I think Lukes James had a better flow and lyrics.

Vote: Luke James.

Honestly, this battle could go either way, I say. No one really stood out to; no one dominated the other.

But in terms of flow and clarity, I'd give it to Jakobe. He always manages to find a way change up his flow every track, which is a great thing. Makes it much easier to listen to. Whereas I've heard Butsaay have great flow and enunciation on other tracks, but it sounded a bit rushed on this battle. Lyrically, no one really stood out, but if I had to give it to one, I'd say Butsaay. I felt he was more offensive than Jakobe on here. Though, it's only fair to point out that Butsaay said he was tired of people ragging on him for his accent/enunciation, but Jakobe's been knocked on for having a monotone deliver many times, too. So insulting Jakobe for that didn't really do anything for that.

But I know this isn't the real Clabtrap tournament, so you guys probably didn't put all your time into this, and that's understandable. That said, I'd give the win to Jakobe. He sounded better on the mic, and though I think Butsaay had slightly better battle verses, Jakobe was more well-rounded.

My vote: Jakobe.

Ponii seems to be mixed offbeat, but it's still great to hear from him again. All this track did for me was make me want more SJD music.

Bummer and Glitch were fine though, and I haven't heard from them in awhile, so this was nice.

Beat was okay, but it couldve used some pizzazz.

I'ma gonna have to vote for Jakobe. Sky sounded great in terms of lyrics, but his flow was a bit off on a few points, and he also lacked any real personals (the lines he used where still pretty cool though). On the otherhand, Jakobe had both down.

Still, this was an entertaining battle. Respect goes to both battlers.

God damn.

I make music.
